A new window should open, maximize it if you wish and begin moving your mouse to paint.  To change the paint color click your mouse once and keep painting.  
 
When you're ready to save your masterpiece tap your "Print Screen" button on your keyboard (command-shift-3 on a Mac) to capture a snapshot of your screen. 

Now, how do you get to see and save those "Screen Captures" or maybe even send them to a loved one? The quickest and most effective method is to have a graphics editing program handy, like Microsoft Paint which is found in your Accessories folder in windows (MacPaint). If that is not an option, you can open your favorite word processing program and create a new document. Position your cursorFlashing Cursorat the beginning of the document or wherever you want the screenshot to appear.

Next, using your keyboard, press Ctrl + V which will Paste the screenshot in your open document. Now you can Save (Ctrl + S) the document to wherever you wish, make sure to name it appropriately so you can easily find it. You can now send this file to anyone via email.
