Press Release: Coldwell Banker Agents Invite the Public To Get Artsy for Charity, In Honor of Bonnie Adams
"The Art of Giving" is the brainchild of two CB La Jolla agents, Melanie Aalbers and Irene McCann, who wanted to find a positive way to honor the life and work of Bonnie Adams, a top producing agent who passed away last year. The event, benefiting the Polinsky Children’s Center and Rady Children's Hospital, puts an artistic spin on charity. Porschia Talbot of My Art Shed, a working gallery, will be guiding artists and non-artists of all ages in creating art and cards for children. "We're excited about this event and the prospect of continuing a tradition of charity that was so well established by Bonnie Adams. We plan to make this an annual event of charity, community, and creativity", said Melanie Aalbers.
Jeff Nunn, Branch Manager, Coldwell Banker, La Jolla adds, “I am so proud of the creative initiative taken by Melanie and Irene to pay tribute to Bonnie Adams - one of the most philanthropic business women in the La Jolla Real Estate community. She gave of herself in so many ways to so many people. It is a tribute to Bonnie that these two fine ladies continue her tradition of giving and generosity. It is an honor to have Irene McCann and Melanie Aalbers as part of our office."
The event, hosted by local eateries, will take place on December 12, 1pm-4pm, at My Art Shed 7426 Girard Avenue in La Jolla. For further information contact, 858.877.3256 or email Giving@IreneandMelanie.com.
